Sometimes the simplest of things are best and the Little Galley is sure to fit the bill. A simple menu with many kids’ favorites is perfect for a quick in and out dining experience. The plus side is that you still get to enjoy one of the best dining views on the island with seating overlooking the harbor and Put-in-Bay Boat Docks.

The Little Galley & The Boardwalk Particulars
With five separate dining options and three bars, the Boardwalk Restaurant and entertainment complex is sure to satisfy everyone’s cravings for food. Many of the restaurants are open-air seating and dining while the Upper Deck is their upscale dining option. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of specialty cocktails and some great live entertainment.
The Little Galley Location
As you enter the main deck of the Boardwalk Restaurant Complex, at the top of the stairs on your right you will find the Little Galley just past the Lobster Trap Gift Shop. The Boardwalk Restaurant Complex is just steps from the DiRivera Park in downtown Put-in-Bay and very visible by the large arch over the entrance. Conveniently located near the Put-in-Bay Marinas and many Put-in-Bay Attractions, the Little Galley is easy to get in and out quickly with ample golf cart rental parking on site. With so many culinary delights all in one location it would be easy to miss the Lobster Bisque served in several outlets near the Little Galley…. Don’t Miss It! Trust us on this one, people come from all over the Midwest for a bowl or bread pot full of this homemade bisque loaded with chunks of Maine Lobster.

The main deck is home to three restaurants, including the Little Galley. A wide variety of dining options and food choices are sure to please everyone!
The Fish Shak
The Fish Shak restaurant features Hand-Breaded Lake Erie Perch and Walleye Sandwiches & Baskets. Selections include smaller portions in sandwiches or larger portions in platters and baskets. Jumbo breaded Onion Rings, Shrimp, and Po Boys round out the dining options.
Book’s Seafood
Served cafeteria style, Book’s Seafood tempts you from the start with large Alaskan King Crab Legs served with warm drawn butter, Key West Pink Shrimp peel & eat style, grilled fish selections including fresh Tuna and Mahi Mahi along with wraps. Salads & New Zealand Mussels. A full-service bar is located on the main deck serving all of the restaurants with creative cocktails and craft beers.
The Upper Deck
The Second Floor of the Boardwalk Restaurant Complex was added in 2007 and featured the opening of the Upper Deck, one of the few upscale dining options at Put-in-Bay. A panoramic view of the Put-in-Bay harbor provides the perfect backdrop for a fine Filet Mignot paired with a cold-water lobster tail, a fresh catch of the day or one of their creative entrees prepared by expert chefs. A full-service bar located in the center of the restaurant also offers seating for diners.
Rita’s Cantina
When you’re looking for a little Tex Mex look no farther than Rita’s Cantina! Nachos and tacos are served with delicious frozen margaritas of many flavors for a south-of-the-border flair. Rita’s is known for the largest selection of tequila on the island. Dining is available tableside, bar side and is a local favorite for a quick order to go.
The Burgee Bar
The Signature Riptide Rum Punch is worth the stop! Handcrafted cocktails, a large selection of local and domestic beers and live entertainment are just a few of the reasons you need to stop by the Burgee Bar on your next visit.
Claw Daddy’s
A casual, pleasant bar with a designated smoking section and is located on the water overlooking the Put-in-Bay docks.
After you have enjoyed your meal, be sure to stop by one of the many attractions near the Little Galley. When departing, to your right is Bayview Avenue home to the Ohio State Stone Laboratory, Oak Point State Park and to your left is the Put-in-Bay Parasail operation where you can fly high over the bay! Stop by the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club or take a drive out thru the west side of the island where cottages and fashionable homes are plentiful. One thing for sure there is no shortage of things to do at Put-in-Bay!
