Helicopter Rides are available in several different packages and lengths of air time. All rides depart and return from the Put-in-Bay Airport located in the center of the island.

Tours range in price from $59.99 to $99.00 per person with the latter offering ariel views of surrounding islands including Middle Bass & North Bass Islands. Both tours offer stunning scenery including the Perry Victory & International Peace Memorial, The South Bass Island Cliffs, State Park & Lighthouse.

Helicopter Tours operate from May to September (weather permitting) and they also operate out of nearby Port Clinton Airport year round.

IF airplanes have always been fascinated by airplanes, the Put-in-Bay Biplane Rides offer up to 2 people at a time to experience an expertly resorted and flown Waco Bi-Plane, the workhorse of airplanes from years gone by.

The Put-in-Bay Airport serves as the lifeline to island residents during winter months when Lake Erie is ice covered and the ferry boats have been laid up for the season. Mail, Winter Workers, perishable supplies and more are transported daily to island residents. In case of a medical emergency, the Put-in-Bay Airport provides helicopter rides off the island thru Lifelight to area hospitals.

The Put-in-Bay Airport also plays host to the Put-in-Bay road races held annually. The closed runways. are converted into a challenging track as vintage race cars from across the United State arrive to compete.
